Where do I start?

Well, lets go from the person that I was a couple of years ago. I was in a relationship that was going nowhere.
​
I left (again) and did my usual thing and got into another one STAT. I couldn't work out why this pattern of behaviour wasn't working for me and I found myself at a crossroads. Either I keep doing the same thing or challenge myself to do something else.
​
Along came Carla's AfterGlow program. What a mind blowing process it was. It was like looking at myself through a mirror glass for the first time in my life and I didn't like what I saw.
​
Carla is one of the most inspired people that I've had the pleasure of working with. She knows her shit. She will challenge you. She will guide you to a better version of yourself, one that personally I didn't know existed.

I had been watching Carla’s posts and stories probably for about 3 months, before I finally got the courage to contact her. I didn’t really know what to say other than “How did you know you needed a divorce?”

I had flicked from a wounded feminine energy to a masculine (sometimes wounded masculine) energy and then wondered why my relationships never lasted. That was where the work was needed for me.
I started The Rising Beyond Separation & Divorce program and it has literally changed my life. I am a different person to the one I was when I first considered separating from my husband and contacted Carla.

You will not regret working with Carla
Please know that working with me is a very different process to working with a psychologist or counsellor.
This is a results driven and heart healing based process. My clients come to me seeking forward movement and an outcome. We always touch on the emotional challenges and struggles together in our session absolutely, but our focus is always on how we can move you through them, over them and resolve them. You are meant to outgrow me and eventually not need me anymore because you feel empowered, confident, healed. That is results and success orientated transformation coaching.

I started working with Carla about a year after my marriage collapsed and I wish I’d found her sooner! But the universe has a way of bringing people into your life at the right time. I was in an extremely angry place due to infidelity and I didn’t want to be any longer.

ABOUT CARLA
Carla Da Costa is an author and divorce coach based in Australia with clients internationally throughout the English speaking world. She works with men and women through her private coaching practice and her long-term coaching container Afterglow.
Through her work Carla supports and inspires women to make this next season of life, the best season of their life. Carla has become a modern voice on divorce asking is divorce really a failure or could this actually be the best thing that ever happened to you?

Carla is currently living in the Northern NSW area. She spends most of her time at the beach, is forever removing sand from her car, catching up with friends, doing coffee and lunch with loved ones and living on Vietnamese and Japanese food (with the occasional Portuguese custard tart thrown in).

And yes, Carla went through her own divorce in 2016/17 (she couldn't do this work like she does, if she hadn't).
